European U16 Championship in Yerevan: Will Azerbaijan's National Basketball Team Arrive?

The C Division of the Men's Under-16 European Championship in 2026 will be held in Yerevan for the first time. This was announced by the Armenian National Basketball Team.

"The hosting rights for the Men's U16 C Division European Championship 2026 have been granted to Yerevan. The tournament will take place from July 4-12, 2026. This will be the first time this tournament is organized in Armenia.

The participating teams include:

Albania
Azerbaijan
Moldova
San Marino
Malta
Gibraltar
Andorra
Kosovo
Additional information regarding the schedule will be released later," the statement reads.

It is noteworthy that according to statistics, the Azerbaijani team is expected to come to Armenia to compete against the Armenian national team.
