Peskov Excludes Discussion of US Plans on Ukraine via Media

The press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, has stated that the Kremlin considers it impossible and inappropriate to discuss US proposals regarding Ukraine through media publications. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

According to him, the issue is too complex to evaluate solely based on media reports. “Essentially, you are suggesting comparing media reports. We do not know how reliable this is or to what extent it corresponds to reality. This is too significant and complex a matter to rely only on media reports,” he emphasized.

Peskov added that Russia remains ready for communication and negotiations, follows media updates, but prefers to rely on information from official sources.
