High Clergy Demands Suspension of Archbishop Arshak Khachaturyan's Church Services

A photo has circulated on the internet showing a petition addressed to Karekin II. In this petition, the high-ranking clergy request and urge him to temporarily suspend Archbishop Arshak Khachaturyan's duties as the head of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and his services in the church.

According to 'Haykakan Jamanak', the petition includes the names of the clergy who have signed below the aforementioned request.

It is worth noting that a video has also spread online, in which Arshak Khachaturyan is allegedly seen engaging in intimate actions with a female relative. The Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia has initiated proceedings regarding the dissemination of these videos.
