For Some People, Neither the Church, Faith, nor National Values Matter: Tunyan
Member of the 'Civil Contract' faction, Babken Tunyan, wrote on Facebook:
“Apparently, for some people, it is acceptable to criticize and insult the sanctified figures solely because they held a service in the presence of the Prime Minister. This is completely normal, it is not blasphemy, nor is it an attack on the church. However, when other sanctified figures are criticized for engaging in business, meddling in politics, calling for armed insurrection, or displaying behavior unbefitting a cleric, that is intolerable and directed against the church. It is indeed a very interesting approach, to say the least. It directly shows that for some people, neither the church, nor faith, nor our national values are important. They simply use all of this for political purposes.”
