Lukashenko Grants Clemency to 31 Ukrainians

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has granted clemency to 31 Ukrainian citizens, and the process for their return to Ukraine has already begun. This was announced by the press secretary of the Belarusian leader, Natalya Eismont, as reported by RIA Novosti.

Eismont stated that this act of clemency was carried out within the framework of agreements reached between U.S. President Donald Trump and Lukashenko. At the request of Ukraine and with the aim of creating necessary conditions for resolving the armed conflict in the neighboring country, Minsk acted on humanitarian principles and demonstrated goodwill.

“The President has granted clemency to 31 Ukrainian citizens who committed criminal offenses in our country,” Eismont noted.
