Friedrich Merz's Press Conference Excludes Russian Journalists
During the G20 summit, the German delegation has denied representatives of Russian media the right to participate in a press conference held by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. They have been informed that only German journalists are allowed to attend, as reported by RIA Novosti.
Earlier, G20 leaders adopted a declaration calling for the resolution of conflicts worldwide, including in Ukraine. Participants of the summit also urged for the expansion of the UN Security Council to include representatives from Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, and Latin America. It was noted that this change would meet the demands of the 21st century by ensuring a more representative, inclusive, and democratic process, as well as enhancing transparency for all UN member states.
