90 Rescuers Fight Blaze in the Jambarak-Ttujur Section
On November 21, information was received at the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Gegharkunik Regional Administration that a fire had broken out in the Jambarak-Ttujur section. Dry grassland is burning on the slope.
A corresponding response has been organized. Forces from the Gegharkunik and Tavush divisions of the Emergency Situations Ministry have been involved in firefighting operations, including five combat teams and four operational groups.
Preliminary data indicates that 70-80 hectares of grassland are ablaze. Firefighters have successfully prevented the spread of the fire toward forested areas and residential zones.
