Zakharova on the US Peace Plan

Maria Zakharova, the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, has stated that Russia has not officially received any peace plan from the US regarding the resolution of the situation in Ukraine. According to her, the leaks, discussions, and various plans circulating in the media do not constitute official documentation.

“Officially, the Russian side—represented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which has established communication channels with the United States—has not received any such proposals or plans at all. We are open to dialogue,” she remarked at the International Press Center of Rossiya Segodnya.

Zakharova emphasized that Russia responds to all Western attacks by constantly developing countermeasures, taking its interests into account. She stated that commenting on the leaks regarding the US peace plan for the resolution of the Ukrainian crisis is an ungrateful task, and the Foreign Ministry will respond when there is official information on the matter.
