Whitkoff Cancels Meeting with Zelensky in Turkey

The U.S. presidential special envoy, Steve Whitkoff, has postponed his scheduled meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Turkey. Axios, citing American and Ukrainian sources, reported that the change is due to the preparatory processes for potential negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.

Previously, the Turkish side had confirmed its willingness to facilitate the resumption of dialogue in Istanbul. The agenda of Zelensky's visit includes discussions on the negotiation process. However, the format and timing of possible consultations have yet to be clarified.
