Gevorg Harutyunyan Attempted to Kill Valodya Grigoryan Again: Reports

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that law enforcement agencies declare that the murder of Valodya Grigoryan is a vendetta, a continuation of the bloody events from February. However, his relatives and teammates disagree and are dissatisfied with the investigation's progress.

Recall that Narik Ohanyan and Gevorg Harutyunyan, residents of Jrvezh, have been arrested. Ohanyan is charged with complicity in murder, while Harutyunyan faces charges of murder, attempted murder, and illegal circulation of weapons.

Meanwhile, Grigoryan's close ones suspect that the former mayor of Jrvezh, ruling party member Mher Akhtoyan, is behind this murder, who left Armenia days before the incident.

A relative of the deceased mayor revealed that Gevorg Harutyunyan, accused of the murder, had been tracking the "victim" for a long time to understand where he was going and what he was doing, making several attempts to kill him but failing. "He followed Valodya several times, but couldn't manage to kill him," our interlocutor said. Law enforcement officials, naturally, refuse to provide details on the investigation.
