Epstein Documents to Be Released: Congress Also Approves

The U.S. House of Representatives has nearly unanimously approved a measure to release documents related to convicted financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was previously acquainted with former U.S. President Donald Trump. Earlier, Trump expressed his support for the release of these documents, and he is now expected to sign the bill.

Trump has also consistently claimed that he severed ties with Epstein in the early 2000s, about two years before the financier's first arrest. The U.S. Senate has confirmed the legislative initiative without discussion.

In the House of Representatives, 427 members from both parties voted in favor, with only one Republican voting against the measure.
