Education is the Only Way to Make Life Manageable: Pashinyan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated in the 21st annual award ceremony of the "IT Sector Educational Award" at the Presidential Residence, where this year, out of 126 participants, 27 students and 9 pupils were awarded. The awards were personally handed out by the Prime Minister, according to his office.
In congratulating the award winners, Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the role of education and noted that the greatest challenge for every individual is life itself. According to him, challenges should be viewed as a natural process, and the primary means of overcoming them is knowledge.
“If someone is struggling, it means there is something we do not know. Education is the only way to reduce the level of ignorance and make life more manageable,” the Prime Minister stressed.
Pashinyan also mentioned that the government continuously invests in the education sector, aiming to pass on a higher level of knowledge to the next generation. He noted that a person is the highest value, and this must be primarily recognized by the individual. “If we expect the state to do its utmost for the person, it is logical that the individual should also expect the utmost from themselves. And that primarily means receiving an education.”
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the award winners for their efforts, emphasizing that they consider themselves the highest value, and through this, they also elevate their state and country to a higher value.
The annual IT Sector Educational Award was established in 2005, initiated by Synopsis Armenia and in cooperation with the “Armenia” All-Armenian Fund. This initiative, carried out under the slogan “Discovering the Best, Inspiring the Next,” promotes cooperation between the government, business, and the education system. To date, a total of 707 young individuals have received this award, of whom 495 are students and 212 are pupils.
