CEC Reports on Recount Results of Vagharsapat Elections

The recount of the voting results from the Vagharsapat community’s local government elections has been completed. The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) announced this to Aysor.am.

“After recounting the votes from 6 polling stations, there has been no change in the number of ballots cast in favor of the parties. The recount resulted in only a minimal change in the number of invalid ballots,” the CEC stated.

It is worth noting that representatives of the “Republic” party had requested a recount of the voting results for polling stations 14/15, 14/16, and 14/22. Polling station 14 had conducted a lottery in accordance with the Electoral Code of Constitutional Law, and the voting results for polling stations 14/1, 14/8, and 14/22 were also recounted.
