Oil Prices Expected to Plummet
By the end of 2026, the average price of Brent crude oil is projected to drop to $56 per barrel, while WTI is expected to fall to $52, according to a new forecast from American investment bank Goldman Sachs.
The current market expectations stand at approximately $63 and $60 per barrel, respectively, but analysts are guided by expectations of a daily surplus of two million barrels, which will exert pressure on prices.
Goldman Sachs anticipates a price increase no earlier than 2027, meaning that by the end of 2028, Brent could rise to $80 per barrel, while WTI may reach $76.
