Details on the Accident in Metsamor: There is a Fatality

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that on November 18 at 15:17, the crisis management center of the Armavir regional rescue service received a call regarding a traffic accident near the police outpost in Metsamor, with injuries reported and requiring rescue assistance.

An operational team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and two fire-rescue crews were dispatched to the scene. It was found that a Chevrolet and a Mitsubishi vehicle had collided, the latter of which had caught fire.

The driver of the Mitsubishi vehicle has died. The fire was contained by 15:34 and extinguished by 15:48. The Mitsubishi vehicle was destroyed by the fire.

Rescue teams deactivated the Chevrolet vehicle, while the body of the Mitsubishi driver was moved to a transport vehicle, and road cleaning operations were conducted.
