Argument between Foreigners in Yerevan Ends with Stabbing

On November 18, shortly after midnight, the operational management center of the Police received a call from an unknown citizen reporting that he had been stabbed with a knife on Heratsi Street, and the assailant was still on the scene. This information was confirmed by the National Police.

Additionally, a report was received from the "Heratsi No. 1" university hospital indicating that a 24-year-old foreign citizen had been admitted with a stab wound to the chest. According to the doctor, the victim was unable to provide any information.

As a result of the actions taken, community police from the Marash district established that, during a dispute over household matters, a 28-year-old foreign citizen, who also lived on Heratsi Street, had inflicted the injury using a sharp cutting tool he had on him. With further measures taken in collaboration with city patrol officers, the 28-year-old foreigner was located shortly thereafter on Jahlukyan Street, arrested, and taken to the station.

It is noted that the documents prepared have been submitted to the investigative department. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
