A Street in Yerevan to be Named After Soviet Boxer Vladimir Yenigibaryan

A street in Yerevan will be named after the Soviet boxer Vladimir Yenigibaryan. This decision was made during the 3rd session of the 5th convocation of the Yerevan City Council. This issue was not presented in the agenda, but it was approved by vote.

From now on, 1st street in Noragavit of the Shengavit administrative district will bear the name of the distinguished Armenian boxer, Olympic champion, three-time European champion, and multiple-time USSR champion, Vladimir Yenigibaryan. The naming will be as follows: “Vladimir Yenigibaryan Street,” “Vladimir Yenigibaryan Street, 1st lane,” “Vladimir Yenigibaryan Street, 2nd lane,” “Vladimir Yenigibaryan Street, 3rd lane,” “Vladimir Yenigibaryan Street, 4th lane,” and “Vladimir Yenigibaryan Street, 5th lane.”
