We Are Forced to and Must Take Measures: Peskov

In Russia, there are no supporters of confrontation with NATO, but we are forced to and must take measures to secure our legitimate interests. This was stated by the spokesperson for the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov.

“Such belligerent rhetoric is heard more and more often from European capitals,” Peskov emphasized.

It is worth recalling that the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs commented on German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius' statement regarding the possibility of a war starting between NATO and Russia. Earlier, Defense Minister Pistorius announced that a war between NATO and Russia could begin by 2029.
