Turkey Has Become the Most Serious Threat to Israel

Turkey has become the most serious threat to Israel. This was stated by the country’s Minister of Diaspora Affairs, Amihai Shikli, emphasizing the necessity of taking active steps in the foreign policy domain to isolate Turkey.

“Turkey is the new Iran. It has ambitions to expand in Syria, is building military bases, and is trying to establish influence in Gaza. Today, Turkey is the most serious threat to Israel,” Shikli noted.

In his assessment, Ankara is continuously increasing its regional influence, which, according to Israeli officials, contradicts Tel Aviv's security interests. Shikli called on international partners to pay attention to Turkey's actions and to discuss potential political limitations.
