Mayoral Elections Take Place in Vagharshapat, Polling Stations Opened

Today, mayoral elections are taking place in Vagharshapat. All polling stations opened at 08:00.

Eight political forces are participating in the snap elections for the Vagharshapat Community Council: seven parties and one party alliance.

1. "Victory" party alliance consisting of "Forward" and the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (lead by Sevak Khachatryan).
2. "Pan-Armenian Front" party (lead by Artem Simonian).
3. "Republic" party (lead by Harutyun Mkrtchyan).
4. "Mother Armenia" National-Democratic Party (lead by Grisha Harutyunyan).
5. "Free Democrats" party (lead by Vahram Azatyan).
6. "Heritage" party (lead by Arkadi Paytyan).
7. "Civil Contract" party (lead by Argishti Mekhakyan).
8. "Homeland" party (lead by Khachik Manukyan).

The total number of voters as of November 7 is 69,866. There are 47 polling stations, 23 of which are in the city of Ejmiadzin, while the others are spread across 18 villages.
