Russia Transfers Air Defense Systems from Syria to Libya: Wall Street Journal

Russia is moving air defense systems and other advanced weaponry from Syria to Libya. This was reported by the Wall Street Journal.

Russia is removing advanced air defense systems and other complex weapons from Syria and relocating them to Libya, according to U.S. and Libyan officials, as Moscow seeks to maintain its military presence in the Middle East following the collapse of the Assad regime in Damascus.

Russian cargo planes have transported air defense equipment, including radars for the S-400 and S-300 missile systems, to eastern Libyan bases controlled by Khalifa Haftar, the Libyan warlord backed by Moscow.
