Reports are circulating in the media that Archbishop Ezras (Mkrtich) Nersisyan, the leader of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the Diocese of Russia and New Nakhichevan, who is a celibate cleric, is allegedly involved in an extramarital relationship with a woman. It is stated that they have a child together, according to 'Armenian Time'.

According to publications, Ezras sent the mentioned woman to the United States to conceal the child's birth so that the child would be born there. In official documents, the child is registered under the mother’s surname, while the father’s name given for the child is Grigori, the name of Ezras Nersisyan’s father.

Furthermore, it is reported that the mentioned woman is currently engaged in the production and sale of branded clothing in the vicinity of the Church of the Holy Resurrection, located adjacent to the Vagankovo Cemetery in Moscow.
