Clarification on Information Regarding Registered Individuals in Vagharshapat
The Migration and Citizenship Service has released a clarification regarding the information circulating about individuals registered at 65A Sparapet Vazgen Sargsyan Street, Vagharshapat, stating that such information lacks any factual basis.
“Dear citizens, the publication of preliminary and final voter lists is conducted for the purpose of verifying individuals registered at these addresses and their polling stations. This ensures the transparency of electoral lists and the verifiability of registrations.
At the same time, we inform you that the service has not received any requests for verification or information regarding individuals registered at 'Armavir Province, Vagharshapat, Sparapet Vazgen Sargsyan Street, 65A' to date. Currently, there are 22 individuals registered at this address, of whom only 2 are registered on factual grounds. The registration of the remaining 20 individuals was done based on proper administrative procedures as defined by law.
This registration took place in 2021, which is approximately four years prior to the publication of the upcoming elections' voter lists. This indicates that claims regarding the falsification of voter lists or the addition of voters at this address are entirely unfounded.
We urge everyone to refrain from publishing unverified or manipulative statements. Throughout the year, no inaccuracies have been recorded during the examination of similar reports.
In the event of discovering any registration or data errors, a corresponding official investigation will be initiated in accordance with the law,” the message states.
