Venezuelan President Calls on Trump

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has called on the American people and President Donald Trump to end endless wars and strive for peace. He made this statement during a comment to CNN.

“Unite for peace. Enough with endless wars. Enough with unjust wars,” he said.

When asked if he had a message for U.S. President Donald Trump, Maduro responded in English, “Yes, peace, yes, peace.”

According to CNN, he did not directly answer the question of whether he is concerned about potential U.S. aggression. Instead, he simply stated that he is focused on peacefully governing his country.
