Lavrov Again Did Not Attend Putin's Security Council Meeting
Russian President Vladimir Putin held a consultation with the permanent members of the Security Council, as reported by the Kremlin's press service. The main topic of discussion was the fight against crimes committed through information and communication technologies.
Participants included Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev, the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Naryshkin, and other high-ranking officials.
According to the Kremlin, the participants paid special attention to the increasing threat of cyberattacks, the protection of state systems, and the threats to information sovereignty. At the same time, it was noted that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov did not attend the meeting.
