Gas Pipeline to Pass Through the Territory of the Republic of Armenia: Taron Chakhoyan

A gas pipeline will be passing through the territory of the Republic of Armenia. The issue of the oil pipeline is still in the discussion phase. This was stated by Taron Chakhoyan, deputy head of the Prime Minister's office, during a live broadcast on Radioaurora.

“Gas pipelines, oil pipelines, and telecommunication wires can pass through the territory of the Republic of Armenia, and as for transporting any other cargo by rail, that is definitely possible. The private entity had the right to import sand instead; the whole issue was that they tried to make a fuss about it, saying, 'Look, look, they brought in fourth-class wheat.' The entire problem was that this route has worked, and we have managed to carry out the transportation of goods from Azerbaijan to the Republic of Armenia. As an event, after this, instead of fourth-class wheat, at some later time, the same private entity might import first-class wheat, might import plastic buckets, might import sand, any kind of product,” Taron Chakhoyan noted.
