Moldova Rejects Entry of Azerbaijani Students
Moldova has denied entry to approximately 40 Azerbaijani students who intended to travel to Ukraine for their studies. According to Report.az, citing the head of the press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Aykhan Hajizade, the students were refused entry upon their arrival at Chisinau International Airport and were sent back to Azerbaijan.
Hajizade stated that the reason for the denial was the improperly formatted documents regarding their university admission, which did not meet the entry requirements according to the Moldovan authorities. The Azerbaijani embassy in Moldova has been informed of the situation and has provided assistance to the students in necessary processes.
