US Takes Steps to Curb China's Global Influence, Says Hegseth

US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has announced that the United States is taking measures to curb China's influence around the world.
"We are containing China's influence globally, regardless of the Panama Canal, which we are freeing from Chinese influence to ensure the free movement of American vessels," Hegseth stated.
