Russia hopes that U.S. President Donald Trump is still prepared to contribute to the diplomatic resolution of the Ukrainian crisis. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the President of Russia.

Peskov mentioned in an interview with CNN that Moscow and Washington also need to improve their relations. “New opportunities for trade and economic cooperation must be opened. Russian-American relations have bright prospects, but both sides are currently wasting time and money,” he said.
