What do they say about the wheat from Russia, is it normal, does it meet their needs? Rubinyan to the opposition

The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Ruben Rubinyan, addressed journalists in parliament regarding the opposition's statements about the wheat brought to Armenia via Azerbaijan from Kazakhstan. He recalled that the opposition had previously claimed that the unblocking would be one-sided and that nothing would change for Armenia.

“Now they are discussing the quality of the wheat. I think this already speaks volumes,” Rubinyan noted.

Commenting on the quality of the imported wheat, he said, “I am not a wheat specialist; you might want to ask the Ministry of Economy. But I don’t think any entrepreneur would want to import wheat that does not serve its purpose. And also, what are they saying about the wheat from Russia? Is it normal? Does it meet their needs?”

It’s worth noting that the wheat brought to Armenia from Kazakhstan via Azerbaijan is of the 4th grade, primarily for animal feed, while the wheat imported from Russia along the same route is of higher grade.
