One of the Young Men Stabbed in Abovyan Has Died; Criminal Proceedings Initiated

On November 10, a murder and attempted murder occurred in the Kotayk region. At 5:30 PM, the "Abovyan" medical center reported to the Kotayk regional police department that two citizens had been admitted with stab wounds.

Doctors at the scene informed the police that one of the injured had died without regaining consciousness, while the other is currently in the operating room and is unable to provide an explanation regarding the events.

The spokesperson for the Investigative Committee of Armenia, Kima Avdalyan, informed Aurora News that criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding murder, causing medium bodily harm, and hooliganism. During the investigation, forensic genetic and forensic medical examinations have been appointed.
