How Much Money Has Been Allocated for the Organization of 'Erebuni-Yerevan 2807' Events

Nearly 2 million USD has been allocated from the budget of Yerevan city for the organization and implementation of events planned for the 'Erebuni-Yerevan 2807' celebrations. This was reported by the Yerevan municipality in response to an inquiry from the 'Joghovurd' newspaper.

"If we accept the data presented by the mapchecking.com website as fact, we will notice that the area depicted in the image at Republic Square will accommodate 54,949 people, which means that there will be approximately 1.5 individuals per square meter if the square is completely packed with people. In the case of a lower density crowd, the number of attendees would be 16,161 people. There was no public information found regarding the number of concert participants, leading to a logical question: of the 1,144,000 residents of Yerevan, nearly half of Armenia's population, how many attended the concert featuring Tata Simonyan and Lyubov Uspenskaya?"

The Yerevan municipality signed a contract with 'Factor Production' LLC, which monopolizes large-scale event organization, for 332,934,895 AMD or 865,000 USD for the organization of the event.

Taxpayers paid 10,666,000 AMD for the performance by the 'Karen-Sevak' group, and 1,269,000 AMD was paid for the 'Malkhas Jazz Trio' band performance. Another contract for the organization of the event allocated 53 million AMD. The 'Nemra' band was paid 2,750,000 AMD for the concert, 5 million AMD for 'Reincarnation', and the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra received 10 million AMD for a 55-minute performance. Suren Arustamyan was paid 1,160,000 AMD for performing for 30 minutes during the rock concert, while the performance of the Vahagn Hayrapetyan Trio for 30 minutes cost 825,000 AMD. Host Vahe Khanamiryan was paid 834,000 AMD for moderating the jazz concert from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

A total of 34,800,000 AMD was allocated for the preparation of stalls in various squares of Yerevan. The Artsakh State Jazz Orchestra received 1,210,000 AMD for a 30-minute performance, while the 'Bambir' group's 30-minute performance cost 2 million AMD. In Diana Abgaryan Square, Beni Benasi's 90-minute performance cost 35,750,000 AMD. The performance of the 'Tmbata' group in the same square for 30 minutes cost 1 million AMD, while the 'Lava Eli' group was paid 1,800,000 AMD for their 30-minute performance. The 'Kami Friends' band received 2,300,000 AMD.
