Charges Filed Against Naida Grigoryan, Daughter of Manvel Grigoryan, on Two Articles
A judge, Naida Grigoryan, has been charged under two articles of the law. In response to an inquiry from 1lurer.am, the Anti-Corruption Committee reported that the representative of the judicial authority is facing charges under part 2, point 5 of article 441 and part 1 of article 482 of the RA Criminal Code.
“A combination of preventive measures has been selected, including a prohibition on leaving and bail,” the committee stated.
It is noteworthy that just days ago, it was announced that public criminal prosecution would be initiated against Naida Grigoryan, the daughter of former MP and former head of the Yerkrapah Volunteer Corps, Manvel Grigoryan, in the first instance general jurisdiction court of Armavir Province. The Supreme Judicial Council had granted the consent to the request of the Attorney General. Grigoryan's powers have been suspended until the completion of the criminal proceedings.
