Azerbaijani Citizens Expelled from Georgia, Banned from Returning

In recent days, Georgia has identified 31 foreign nationals who were in the country without legal grounds. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, citizens from India, Turkey, Cuba, Egypt, China, Pakistan, Russia, Congo, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Nigeria, Thailand, Kuwait, Israel, and Ghana have been expelled.
Under local legislation, these individuals are banned from re-entering Georgia. The ministry has noted that over a thousand foreigners have been expelled from the country this year, significantly exceeding the total number of expulsions recorded in the past three years.
