Azerbaijan Reduces Carpet Imports from Turkey

From January to October 2025, Azerbaijan imported carpets worth $7.333 million from Turkey, marking a 15.2% decrease compared to the same period last year.

According to Report, citing the Turkish Exporters Assembly, in October, carpets worth $1.383 million were exported to Azerbaijan, which is a 5.8% decline from the figures of 2024.

For the ten months, the total value of carpet exports from Turkey decreased by 2.4%, amounting to $2.302 billion, but in October, it rose by 4.5%, reaching $287 million.

The main importers of carpets from Turkey included the United States, with $594.549 million (8.9% decrease compared to last year), Iraq with $243.889 million (17.2% increase), and Saudi Arabia with $241.106 million (0.9% increase).
