Trump Grants Pardons to Dozens

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has signed an executive order granting pardons to dozens of individuals accused of intervening in the 2020 elections. The list includes former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, and others.

The attorney later clarified that the order does not extend to the president.

It is worth recalling that on January 6, 2021, Trump supporters stormed the Capitol, resulting in hundreds of people being convicted. Since taking office, Trump has previously granted pardons to approximately 1,500 individuals.
