Murder Attempt in Gyumri: Woman Beaten with Wooden Handle of a Hammer

A 39-year-old woman has been hospitalized with multiple injuries indicative of an attempted murder in Gyumri. According to Aravot.am, on November 1 at 21:55, Z.M., a resident of Gyumri, arrived at a medical center with numerous wounds to her face and head.

The hospital reported the incident to the police operational management center. The woman stated that the injuries were inflicted by her ex-husband, A.A., in his apartment. An operational team, led by senior community police officer Badalyan, arrived at the scene and determined that the former spouses had argued over domestic issues, during which the man had beaten the woman with the wooden handle of a hammer.
