Police to Allocate 100 Million AMD for Vehicle Repairs: 'Hraparak'
'Hraparak' newspaper reports that the police will allocate 100 million AMD for vehicle repairs, with 50 million already spent on four cars, and the remaining 50 million designated for the repair of 150 vehicles.
On June 29, the police signed a procurement contract for 50 million AMD with 'Toyota Yerevan LLC' for the repair of various Toyota models, including the 2022 Camry 2.5, RAV 4, and Fortuner 2.7, among others. Additionally, another contract for 50 million AMD was signed on July 3 with 'Chekh Auto LLC' for the refurbishment of 150 Skoda Octavia vehicles purchased between 2020 and 2021. This means that approximately 340,000 AMD is allocated for each vehicle.
It should be noted that these vehicles are used by the patrol service. Previously, a wrong purchase decision was made by choosing the 'Skoda' brand at a considerably high price. Now, the same company is being paid again for the repairs of these vehicles.
