Our Proposals Have Been Transmitted to Washington, We Await a Response: Lavrov

The dialogue between Russia and the United States on bilateral issues is developing, but not as quickly as desired, stated Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to Lavrov, it is crucial that the dialogue with the United States on these so-called bilateral issues exceeds the operations of embassies and also addresses the establishment of air communications and the return of diplomatic property to Russia.

“Our proposals regarding both diplomatic property and air communications have been transmitted to the American side,” Lavrov announced. He added that the Russian side is currently awaiting the United States' response regarding the resumption of dialogue.
