I Consider It Likely That HEC Will Be Stripped of Its License: Romanos Petrosyan
There are several hundred dismissed employees at HEC, said the interim manager of HEC, Romanos Petrosyan, in a conversation with journalists.
“All dismissals are based solely on the priorities of law and the rule of law; all dismissed officials either did not match their positions, caused damage, or were about to harm the legal interests of the company. There are several dozen court cases, and I am confident that the courts will render just decisions,” Petrosyan stated.
He added that the proceedings will end on November 18, and the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) must hold a meeting within 1 week to 10 days and publish the draft final conclusion 3 days in advance. “During my 3.5 months in management, I have raised about 10 substantiated reasons why I consider it likely that HEC will be stripped of its license,” he mentioned, adding that HEC’s managers have been submitting false reports for an extended period, which has affected the rates.
