The Army Has Become More Beneficial to Collaborate With Than to Seize by Force: Daniel Ioannisyan

Daniel Ioannisyan, the coordinator of the Public Organization "Informed Citizens Union", stated on his Facebook page, "Since the theme has been opened, I want to say that I have seen the armed forces accept self-propelled, towed, and multiple launch rocket systems, anti-tank, anti-aircraft, anti-radiolocation, reconnaissance, aviation, electronic warfare, chemical protection, armored personnel carriers, small arms, and evacuation weapons and technologies in recent years.

"Among them, I have seen technologies and destruction means that I had only heard about in the context of the leading armies of the world… and even weapons that I didn’t know existed in the world.

"I have also followed the combat training exercises of infantry and artillery units. I have seen the ultra-modern training devices that are used for that purpose. I have personally tested some of the training devices.

"Moreover, a significant part of all these was produced locally, and most of it was purchased from various leading countries around the globe.

"I have visited various defensive engineering structures that are being built and have been built in different parts of the republic. All of this, in terms of quality, generation, and even era, is at a level we couldn't even dream of in 2020 regarding weapons, ammunition, equipment, defensive structures, training devices, and combat preparedness levels. Believe me, you would envy my eyes.

"And as much as we may be dissatisfied with the sluggishness of certain processes in the army, we must acknowledge that we have an army that we have never had before. The army (and foreign policy) has become such that cooperating with us is more profitable than seizing from us by force," Ioannisyan wrote.
