Rubio considers Vance as the leading candidate for Republicans in the presidential elections

According to sources from Politico, Marco Rubio has promised to support J.D. Vance if the latter decides to run for president. Previously, President Donald Trump mentioned several times that Vance and Rubio could become his political heirs. Recently, he even suggested that they participate in the elections as a united tandem.

Sources indicate that the White House is discussing a scenario where Vance could lead the Republican ticket, while Rubio would run for the vice presidency. According to Politico's October poll results, 35 percent of Trump's voters consider Vance to be the future leader of the party, while only 2 percent support Rubio. Despite this, both politicians emphasize that there is no competition between them.
