Production Facility Owned by Ashtarak Milk Suspended by FSA

The production activity of a dairy facility owned by Ashtarak Milk LLC has been suspended. This was reported by the Food Safety Inspection Body.

Inspectors from the FSA center in Yerevan recorded that during the inspection conducted at this company, violations of the established sanitary and hygienic norms were detected. In particular, the milk collection and cooling production building was not equipped with devices intended for drying and wiping hands. The floor of the area had irregularities that obstructed washing, sterilization, and drying processes. The wall surfaces were not made of waterproof, washable, and disinfectable materials, there were damaged areas on the walls, traces of corrosion were found on the water pipes, and dirt accumulations were present on the electrical wiring. Additionally, the internal windows had signs of mold, and the feet of milk collection containers and refrigerators showed signs of corrosion.

A deadline was set for the elimination of these violations.
