It has been noted that the employee withdrew the funds in small amounts over the course of three years. The missing funds were identified during a cash verification at the bank's vault.

CCTV footage has documented the theft, and the suspect has confessed to the alleged crime.

It was also revealed that the employee had been gambling away the stolen money at various bookmakers.
