It Is Revealed Who Owns the Company Importing Wheat to Armenia via Azerbaijan

The company importing wheat through Azerbaijan is "Baghramyan" LLC. This was confirmed by the company's director, Vladimir Gasparyan, in a conversation with Aysor.am.

He assured that if the first batch of wheat has already arrived, then there were no obstacles. "What happened, happened. For 35 years it didn’t happen, now the fact is that the wheat has arrived. We, our neighbors cannot change anything. Was it good to take advantage of this opportunity, or was it bad? It concerns food security and what it means for the state. If there is a problem with the cargo in Armenia for a month and we wouldn’t have brought it based on our assumed doubts, how correct would that be? I think having one more route, having an additional door opened is only welcome," said the company's director.

He added that this route is an alternative that will benefit everyone. "Abandoning it would also be a mistake on our part in relation to the state. Overall, can you imagine how much the congestion at Lars will be alleviated because of this? You see what is happening at Lars, right? Plus, there is the 90-day limit for drivers entering Russia. This issue has not been resolved to this day, many drivers are unable to go, the trucks have been stopped and are not moving," Gasparyan elaborated.
