Iran Seeks Request from Washington

US President Donald Trump has announced that Iran has reached out to Washington with a request regarding the potential easing of current economic sanctions. According to Trump, the American restrictions have had a serious impact on Iran's economy, hindering the country's numerous initiatives. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

“Iran is asking whether it's possible to lift the sanctions. They are facing very stringent limitations that obstruct their plans. I am ready to listen to them and see what can come of it,” Trump stated.

He added that he is open to possible negotiations, but no decision has been made at this stage. Trump emphasized that Washington will continue to pursue its interests while not ruling out continued diplomatic engagement with Tehran.
