Illegal Weapons and Ammunition Found in Ararat Province Raids; Several Arrests Made

During the investigation of a criminal case initiated on the grounds of attempted murder and illegal circulation of firearms, their essential components, military ammunition, and other materials, devices, and items, the Ararat Provincial Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee conducted over ten searches on November 7, 2025, based on information received from the National Police.

The searches, carried out in cooperation with the police, resulted in the discovery of a large quantity of illegal weapons and ammunition, narcotics, and more.

The Investigative Committee reports that 8 individuals have been arrested. The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
