Marina Hakobyan Appointed as Director of the National Gallery

Marina Hakobyan will be appointed as the director of the National Gallery of Armenia. This was announced by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Arayik Harutyunyan, on his Facebook page.

According to the minister, Arman Tsaturyan is leaving the position as his contract has expired. He also noted that artist Vahan Badalyan will be appointed as the director of the National Center for Aesthetics named after Henrik Igityan, while Levon Igityan has been relieved of that position at his own request.

Harutyunyan promised to provide more details tomorrow.
