NSS Officers Attempt to Detain Tsarukyan from the National Assembly
Officers from the National Security Service (NSS) attempted to detain Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the 'Prosperous Armenia' faction, from the premises of the National Assembly, reports news.am.
Tsarukyan stated that he was heading to the NSS as agreed, regardless of the circumstances. It should be noted that just moments earlier, during a speech at the National Assembly podium, Tsarukyan declared that he would go to the NSS after his address, where he has been summoned for questioning.
When asked by reporters whether Tsarukyan had violated any agreement, resulting in his attempted detention, an NSS officer responded in the negative.
Ultimately, Tsarukyan got into his car, with an NSS officer seated beside him. It is also worth mentioning that there is a significant presence of masked NSS officers within the National Assembly at this time.
