Azerbaijan Again Emphasizes That the 'Zangezur Corridor' Is Not Against Armenia: Details

The spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Aykhan Hajizadeh, has stated that the 'Zangezur Corridor' is not an act against Armenia's sovereignty.

"Azerbaijan's position regarding the 'Zangezur Corridor' is principled and based on the legal foundations of regional cooperation and the principle of mutually beneficial interests," said Hajizadeh.

According to him, in accordance with the 9th point of the trilateral statement of November 10, 2020, the unimpeded movement between Azerbaijan's western regions and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic must be ensured.

Hajizadeh emphasized that Baku continues to advocate for mutual respect and coordinated actions in favor of opening regional communications.
